The Library Letter is available exclusively with the Adventure B@ckpack Program and should not be made available to patrons without the b@ckpack. All letters are valid beginning Jan. 1, 2026 and expire Dec. 31, 2026. There shall be no refund or replacement if lost or stolen.
The Library Letter is only available for purchase online using the unique URL provided. Be sure to include the name of the library and address on your order and library contact. Indiana Public Libraries may purchase up to 5 letters. One letter will need to be kept inside the b@ckpack. Participating libraries supply the b@ckpack and all its contents, which might include binoculars, and/or a magnifying glass, field guides for identifying trees, birds, fish or other wildlife found in Indiana and a copy of the Indiana Recreation Guide published by Indiana DNR. Each letter is printed on non-copy paper, laminated and mailed within 5-7 business days. Copies will not be accepted.
