The Golden Hoosier Passport (GHP) may be used by an Indiana resident receiving or eligible to receive Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) under 42 U.S. Code 423 as described by the Social Security Administration.
The SSDI pass admits the eligible individual and all persons accompanying the cardholder in a single private, family-type non-commercial vehicle to any property administered by the Indiana DNR, where entrances are designated and fees are charged. It is not valid for entrance to the Indiana State Museum, State Historic Sites or Falls of the Ohio Interpretive Center. This permit does not cover special user charges for services and facilities within the property.
This permit is not transferable to family members or any other individual. The eligible cardholder must be present in the vehicle at the time of use. A legal guardian may purchase under the disability exemption on behalf of a disabled individual, who must be present.
Guests must keep all pets and service animals on a leash not more than 6 ft. long and attended at all times. Pets are not allowed on swimming beaches. It is unlawful to copy or reproduce this permit. Individuals presenting a copied or reproduced permit for sale or personal use will be prosecuted to the full extent permissible under Indiana law.

This permit is valid from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2024. There shall be no refund or replacement of lost permits. *Please note that permits are also available for purchase at the individual park properties. Your receipt cannot be used in lieu of the actual permit. Please call the park/reservoir direct for operating hours.
