Social Security Disability Income pass - Updated for 2025
The Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) pass may be used by an Indiana
resident receiving or eligible to receive Social Security Disability Income under
42 U.S. Code 423 as described by the Social Security Administration.
This pass is not transferable to family members or any other individual.
The eligible cardholder must be present in the vehicle at the time of use.
The SSDI pass admits the eligible individual and all persons accompanying the
cardholder in a single private, family-type non-commercial vehicle to any property
administered by the Indiana DNR, where entrances are designated and fees are
charged. It is not valid for entrance to State Historic Sites or Falls of the Ohio Interpretive Center.
This pass does not cover special user charges for services and facilities within the
property. This pass is not transferable to family members or any other individual.
The eligible cardholder must be present in the vehicle at the time of use. A legal
guardian may purchase under the disability exemption on behalf of a disabled
individual, who must be present.
Guests must keep all pets and service animals on a leash not more than 6 ft. long
and attended at all times. Pets are not allowed on swimming beaches. It is
unlawful to copy or reproduce this pass. Individuals presenting a copied or
reproduced pass for sale or personal use will be prosecuted to the full extent
permissible under Indiana law. This pass is valid from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2025.
There shall be no refund or replacement of lost pass.
The SSDI admits the driver and passengers to Interlake OSRA and Redbird OSRA but is not valid for motorized trail use. An Off-Road Vehicle Permit or a Daily Trail Pass is required to access off-road trails.
